Who We Are
Our Mission
Our goal is to provide our clients with memorable experiences that leave them with a love for Montana’s natural beauty, countless trout, and an understanding of the resources we are fortunate enough to have. We hope to help you build an appreciation and knowledge of the sport through expert instruction, an impressive grasp on Montana’s vast number of waterways, and patient guides willing to adapt to our clients needs.
Our clientele leave the day not only having caught fish, but with an understanding of the basics for first-timers, and skills and techniques beyond what experienced anglers already possess. Our guides focus more on collaboration than competition, and are dedicated to sharing all that we can do as anglers to maintain and improve our resources for generations to come.

SAM ZIEGLER
Owner and outfitter Sam Ziegler grew up outside of Burlington, Vermont, where he was typically found skiing, fishing and biking. In 2008, he followed his passions out West, attending Montana State University in Bozeman and falling in love with fly fishing shortly after graduation. He has been guiding and building his knowledge of the area’s waters ever since.
Sam looks forward to each fishing season as an opportunity to share his passion for fly fishing and appreciation of Montana’s natural beauty with his clients and help build lifelong memories on the water. Sam lives in Bozeman with his wife Casey and their yellow lab Frankie.
